Backstory

So after about four years of writing predominantly fanfics during college I finally got back into the game in 2000. I decided that I wanted to rewrite "First Contact" to make it new and improved and possibly better written. One of the first things you might notice is the epic prologue here and the first chapters that detail all the stuff that happened before the good guys got to the colony world of "First Contact."

The basic plot is the same: a group of humans show up at a planet outside the solar system for a colonizing expedition. Then they're attacked by aliens called the S'Parnians who want to harness their life force for food. Mayhem ensues.
